Information Bulletin for all Parents K-8

Please read below a copy of a talk-mail sent to all parents.

Good evening!

It is Thursday, March 26th and this is Ms. McGrath calling from Forest Hills School with a message for all of our parents Gr. K-8.

I am calling this evening to let parents know that we had an incident at school this week in our middle school area. The incident involved some allegations of threats being made by middle school students towards another student. The incident occurred in a middle school classroom.

The incident has been dealt with by both the school administration and by the Saint John Police. It has been determined that there was never a threat to the general school population. The parents of all students involved in this incident have been in close communication with us and we feel that all appropriate actions have been taken to ensure the safety of all involved.

I know that sometimes news of incidents like this can be alarming. It is my hope that this talk-mail will alleviate any rumors or false information that you may hear. Please be assured that safety is always our primary concern and if we felt that further details needed to be released to our general school population, we would do so.

I urge you to please contact the school if you have any further questions or concerns keeping in mind that we will respect the privacy of the individuals involved.

Mrs. Whitney, Mr. Blucher or I can be reached at 658-5338.

Thank you.
