Vote for FHS!!

Hi there !

On behalf of the Forest Hills School PSSC, I applied to be a part of the Enbridge Gas NB’s Fix it in 5 Program. During the first weeks in June, one project in each City in NB will be awarded a day of volunteer time and the resources needed to complete the project (up to $3500). Projects are intended to benefit the community, and so I applied to see if we could get some resources in place to work on the “curb appeal” of the school as discussed at recent PSSC meetings.

The link is below and you can vote EVERY DAY. You have to select Saint John, and scroll down to the project entitled “Proud to be Forest Hills Falcons”.

Please do so, and pass along the link to everyone you know. Our school needs to better say “Welcome to Forest Hills School. You’re going to love it here !” That is something that all of the staff and students project inside the building, but it’s not readily apparent from the front door so I thought it would be a good fit for this Program.

Thanks !

Wendy Papadopoulos

Family Phys Ed. Night

Family Phys. Ed. Night- Thank you to all who participated in our first ever Family Phys. Ed. Night. It was a great success! Approximately 150 individuals took part and it was great to see so many parents actively playing with their children. Special thanks to all our sponsors who donated items for our silent auction and to the Home and School for making a cash donation. A list of our sponsors is found belos. Close to $800 was raised which is being used to purchase wellness prizes for our students and new equipment for our Phys. Ed. classes. If anyone has any feedback regarding this evening, please feel free to contact Mr. Tobin or Miss Parsons as we would like to make this an annual event.
