Parent Notice

We would like to advise all parents that we have had a few cases of head lice reported in the building.

We advise parents to check their child's hair every 2 or 3 days for the next few weeks. One nit can hatch and begin laying eggs in a very short period of time.

We suggest that the best way to deal with head lice is to use a treatment (either purchased at a drug store or one of the home remedies available to you). This treatment should kill any live lice....but will not have much of an effect on the nits which have not yet hatched. Therefore, it is extremely important that all nits be removed from the hair...if you miss even one the problem will return in as little as two weeks.

If you have any questions please contact Ms. McGrath at the school office.
