Forest Hills School is partnering with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Saint John to look for in-school mentors for next school year. Training and information is provided and commitment is for in-school activities only.

Remember when you were a kid? Didn’t you love it when an adult paid attention to you? We have a number of GREAT kids who are waiting with anticipation for a Mentor in our In School Mentoring Program throughout Districts 8, 6, and 10.

To be a Mentor, it only takes:
* One hour a week
* On school property
* During the school year

Our program is flexible to meet your needs as well as the needs of the child. Your mentoring hour can be arranged for any time during the school day, not just over the noon hour.

You can:
Make crafts, play sports in the gym, read books, tell jokes, walk in the schoolyard, plant flowers, do puzzles, work on a project, build a model car, play board games, teach new skills, and much more!

Why not “Share your Lunch with a Child” and be a “kid” yourself. Call 635-1145 or visit
www.bigbrothersbigsisters.ca/saintjohn or contact Ms. T. Whitney, school principal, at 658-5338 for more information.

PLEASE consider this opportunity as a way to support our community children.
